RIFT’s new Prime progression server certainly has recaptured or recruited many MMO bloggers to the game as of late, and it is all anyone seems to be talking about. So how’s the word out on the web? Nerdy Bookahs observed that Trion “chose a perfect time” to release the progression server. The Ancient Gaming Noob initially felt conflicted but soon fell into a groove: “There was the feeling of life in the game, with lots of people around and public groups to join and things just happening everywhere.” And GamingSF said that he’s “coming along swimmingly” on the shard. It wasn’t all kudos and praise. Endgame Variable hedged his outlook by saying that RIFT Prime was “fun, but I don’t think it will last very long.” Inventory Full felt disillusioned with the way the original game was handled and said, “RIFT simply doesn’t have the depth or breadth of content of either of the EverQuest games, nor … [Read more...] about Global Chat: RIFT Prime numbers
Yup, I disappeared again! I was busy testing the global test of Master X Master though the game is only available for the Korean, Japanese, and Taiwanese users at the moment. Yeah, I know most of you guys are probably tired of em, but this game is pretty cool because of the unique tag system where you play two characters. Players use the WASD keys to move their characters around with an awesome free aiming attack system for normal attacks and skills. The free aiming system is really nice because certain Masters will require players to predict and fire ahead … [Read more...] about STEPARU News, Reviews, Previews & Information for Foreign Games Master X Master Global Test Gameplay Preview
So we’ve had the pleasure of playing through Dragon Ball Online Global in the past, during its closed beta stages. They recently announced, however, their plans to go into Open Beta, with a plethora of bug fixes, translation fixes, and overall improvements to the game. So, naturally, we wanted to jump right in and see what the game had to offer – being fans of the Dragon Ball franchise itself. Both the Human and Namekian’s, in my opinion, have inferior starter zones as neither have been enjoyable for Wiggy and I to progress through. The Majin however was very, very impressive and although there are still a lot of translation issues we came across – having the game still significantly in Chinese, the game was much more enjoyable through this route. All in all, we didn’t have a bad experience at all. We’ll actually continue looking through it as the year goes on to keep an eye on progress. … [Read more...] about The Dragon Ball Online Global Open Beta Is.. Not Bad, Actually!
