One of the reasons me and my wife kickstartered this game was because of how you are trying to cater to different groups of players. PVE'ers, PVP'ers etc. The idea of having different rule sets for each planet was a very unique concept and I think it is one of the best ideas I have ever seen. In other games, i've always had to choose between the PVE server (which my wife prefers) and the PVP server, which I usually prefer. I am not up to date on what the games engine can handle but I was wondering if dynamic weather effects were to be added or at least conceptualized? I feel adding these effects would make the game even more visually appealing(more than it already is)! In some other games that I have played(none come to my immediate memory) both day/night and weather had the ability to play a roll on game play such as adding both buffs and debuffs to the character. I have read through the Fractured news tab and saw that the environment(water in particular) could be manipulated by using ice and electricity spells but what about the addition of randomized and persistent weather such as rain, fog or even hail? The ways different types of weather could effect both PvP and PvE are endless! Just discovered this game a few hours ago and I am already truly hyped for what this game has to offer! Hi everyone, Thinking about my (honestly, not really extensive) past experiences with big battles in MMO (I played quite a lot the WvW in GW2, but that's basically all), I always noticed that 99% of the cases it just was a matter of who had the biggest army. I would really enjoy a game where superior ability could let you win against the sheer power of numbers. How do you think Fractured will deal with the issue? I am sure that the mechanics of interactions with environment, coupled with a sort of "fog of war" effect to allow ambushes, could help doing the trick, but then there will also be the issue of lag tied to the big number of players... There is some limit to the development of a character? Like in Ultima Online (if I remember well) you cannot develop all the skills to the maximum level, for this reason you will be forced to team up with other characters, like if you are a warrior you cannot be a blacksmith, for this reason, if you need the topmost quality sword you need to ask to a fully developed blacksmith to forge it for you.
