Yesterday we had three shows of note, namely the PC Gaming Show, Ubisoft and SquareSoft. This morning I am going to do my best to cover all of the topics of importance to me personally. Like I said yesterday this is my rundown of the show and I am certain I missed something that you really dug. However these are the things that I consider to be worth watching on a personal level. PC Gaming Show The PC Gaming Show is such a weird crapshoot as far as whether or not it is going to show something that I ultimately care about. As a whole it has come a really long way in production quality because that very first year seemed like it was legitimately happening in a High School Auditorium. Now it at least rivals the production of the big shows and I think Day 9 does a really great job with his reoccurring role as master of ceremonies. As Massively OP is centered on the “massively” part of gaming, it makes sense that my first guide to survival games was focused on multiplayer titles. Similarly, The Survivalist will mostly (but not always!) concern itself with the multiplayer games in the survival genre. However, after researching this topic, I felt that not highlighting the single-player offerings would be a serious disservice to the genre. With Pokemon Go trying to avoid explicitly calling itself an MMO, Massively OP once again has room for a top contender in the realm of mobile MMOs. There’s just one problem: We’ve got mostly Western readers for a genre that seems to appeal much more to the East. I was given the opportunity to see top global mobile MMO Lineage 2 Revolution and up and coming dino-sandbox Durango at E3 2017. I can see the appeal of both games, but also some limitations.
