Violet the Valkyrie and Wolfgang Schneider are set to launch sometime between July and September while Soma and Luna Aegis will arrive sometime between October and December. While the new characters are perhaps the most exciting bit, the game will be getting an across the board level cap increase sometime between now and the end of the month. Check out the full 2018 roadmap below: Check out gameplay for the new characters below: Violet the Valkyrie Gameplay: Wolfgang Schneider Gameplay: Luna Aegis Gameplay: Soma Gameplay: The biggest drawback for the Western version of closes was the few available classes compared to the Korean version. By the end of the year the gap between characters in both versions should at least be a bit narrower. Bluray new releases 2018
They built and deployed several new powersets this year, including our first two healing and buffing sets. Five more powersets are under construction including and our first controller set. Internally, we’ve upgraded to Popcorn FX for impressive visual effects that don’t lag the game. Apotheosis City looks great now; adding a day/night cycle, civilians, and cars is a major accomplishment, and so is all of the sophisticated backend code that makes these features function well. This is the most commented-on subject for our supporters, and even our devs are often amazed when they see how well the different parts of the codebase work together. The game environment has gotten dramatically more advanced, as have our prototype mission maps. They polished and then tested our new combat system in a combat Alpha during February and March. It was a huge hit with the community; combat in SoH is easy to learn but hard to master, and the devs are having … [Read more...] about Ship of Heroes Releases 2018 Year-End Recap

Happy New Year to all our readers! My New Year’s Resolution: Blog more again! Thanks to the RSI, my gaming time is limited, but I am busy with boring RL stuff, too. Still, writing about games is something I enjoy doing and I would like to do that more often. There is one post I plan to publish soon and then I got one more vertical PC mouse that I want to write about and I just ordered another one for my right hand to try – if that one works as I hope it will, my left hand will be able to relax more as I’m still using it to move to places where my right hand can click on. I am also the very proud owner of a Steam controller which opened up lots of gaming possibilities again! Just a glimpse into my RL stuff: I am wrapping up my current job. I quit and will – if I get to take all my vacation days that I haven’t taken yet – get out there after the first week of February. This sounds bad… “get out there”. I will miss that job, even … [Read more...] about Happy New Year 2018!
Hey Attackers, we have two very different game releases to look at this week. One is an incredibly atmospheric, and at times, claustrophobic single player game and the other is a multiplayer only, hero shooter that’s all about floating and gunning. Let’s take a look. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice This is a game that’s stunning in many ways and not just because of how much work went into creating the game’s atmosphere or art style. The main draw of Hellblade is how it tackles mental illness in a visceral and unflinching way. It’s a game that focuses more on making you identify with Senua than it is a game focused on hacking and slashing. Combat is there but maybe not in the quantities some would like. If you’re looking for a game that’s a bit different–one that’s immersive and disturbing, then you should give Hellblade a try. LawBreakers Lawbreakers is probably as far removed from Hellblade as you can get. It’s … [Read more...] about Weekend Watch: New Releases Hellblade and LawBreakers
