DC Universe Online players have been swimming around in Atlantis recently thanks to the release of the latest game content update. The DC Universe Online site has been updated with a preview of the next major content update coming to the game in March. Called Justice League Dark, the new episode will launch on March 28th. Gotham City is threatened by a "massive, tentacled Daemon" from another plane that is descending from a giant rift that has opened above the city.  Justice League Dark will be a large-scale episode, with level-agnostic event versions of content available to all players for a limited time.   The episode will feature new and returning heroes and villains, including Zatanna, John Constantine, Mordru, Doctor Fate, Felix Faust, and Shazam.    The storyline will include a variety of singleplayer and multiplayer adventures set in several magical and otherworldly locales, including the House of Mystery.   The episode will launch new player rewards, including new gear, styles, artifacts, base items, and feats. DC Universe Online has launched on the Nintendo Switch console this month. The free to play superhero MMORPG by WB Games and Daybreak Studios have been around for close to a decade, and have finally taken the plunge to be the first Western MMORPG on the Swtich. We’ve been playing it since launch and here’s some thoughts on the game. What’s Changed For DC Universe Online on Nintendo Switch Like most MMORPG ports from PC systems to console in the past, DC Universe Online hasn’t changed all that much. For the most part, the gameplay, the content, episodes, story and combat is the same. Ultimately, the content does not change for DCUO on the Nintendo Switch. The player experience is pretty much the most different however, due to players having to trade large PC monitors for the tiny Switch handheld screen. You can play it in docked mode of course, which blows the game up to 720p on TV or monitors. From today through September 30th, DC Universe Online players can celebrate Batman "Day". Those who log in "can claim a free painted Batman Day t-shirt for their character to wear and pay tribute to the iconic hero". Those who sport DC Universe Online membership will also be able to grab a Batman Swarm t-shirt. Lastly, Resurgence Mega-Capsules are back on the Marketplace "with all new materials inspired by DCUO's Powersets". Happy Batman Day!
