Today, 21st Century Fox announced that they led a round of funding for Caffeine that also included existing Caffeine investors Andreessen Horowitz and Greylock Partners, and other undisclosed partners. Caffeine also entered into a content agreement with Live Nation to bring live music concerts to their social broadcast platform in Q4 2018. This led to a combined 100,000,000  into Caffeine a new venture entitled “Caffeine Studios”, joint owned by the two companies.  The new studio will leverage FOX Sports’ expertise in live events and programming to create exclusive esports, video game, sports, and live entertainment content for Caffeine’s next-generation social broadcasting platform. The Albion Online site has been updated to bring the first information out about the game's next major content update. Called "Nimue", the update will launch on November 21st with a number of quality of life improvements to the game as well as guild logos, crop/furniture placement improvements, mob faction caps, Guardian Aspects, the ability to mark enemies and party roles. Lastly, a number of improvements to faction outposts, arena and NPC/town buildings will be included. The Nimue update arrives November 21, bringing numerous new features and updates to the world of Albion. Foremost among these is Crystal Realm Battles, a stunning new 5v5 GvG mode set in a mystical alternate plane. PlayStation 4 and XBox One players are invited to head to the World of Warships: Legends site to sign up for an opportunity to participate in closed beta testing that will begin on December 21st. Those who pre-register for inclusion in the CBT will be awarded "exclusive rewards for when the game launches later in 2019". For the Beta, a contingent of Legendary Commanders will be available to helm vessels like the mighty Iowa and the magnificent Amagi. Although Apex Legends is currently dominating the battle royale scene, genre-progenitor H1Z1 is still looking to keep itself fresh and exciting as it prepares to kick off its third season on PS4 on February 21st.
