The riches of the eastern kingdom of Turan have arrived in Conan Exiles, Funcom’s open world survival game set in the brutal world of Conan the Barbarian. Available now on PC and PlayStation 4, and releasing soon on Xbox One, the new DLC introduces the opulent gilded palaces of Turanian culture to the savage Exiled Lands. In addition to more building styles, players will also find new armors and weapons, new warpaints, new placeables such as glittering statues and standing lamps, and two new pack animal pets: the richly adorned caravan Rhino and elephant. Yes, Funcom took the wraps off its upcoming pet system for Conan Exiles this week. “To begin rearing an animal, you will need to obtain a baby or an egg,” Funcom explains. “These can be found in the world, and on certain (rare) vendors. To pick up a baby animal in the world, simply press the interaction button when you have it targeted. Eggs will hatch after a certain amount of time and produce live offspring, which will sit in your inventory. Baby animals will decay over time, so it’s best to convert them to ‘proper pets’ in the animal pens unless you want to be a total monster and kill baby animals. Conan Exiles Preparing For Global Launch On May 8th, Releases New Trailer  After 14 months of Early Access, Conan Exiles finally receives its full launch on May 8th, becoming available all over the world digitally and in physical retail. Conan Exiles, the buy to play survival game from Funcom, is officially launching on May 8th, 2018 after 14 months of early access. The game will be available on PC, Xbox, and PS4. To celebrate the upcoming launch, Funcom released the following new Conan Exiles trailer: The biggest changes with full release is a revamped combat system, 2 new giant maps, new Purge PvE invasions, farming, fast travel, new perks, gear, and more.
