Using Search Engines to Brainstorm New Ideas for Blogging Topics

Home » Blogging » Using Search Engines to Brainstorm New Ideas for Blogging Topics The modern internet, with over 11 billion indexed pages filling its ranks is what you could definitely call a very competitive place when it comes to finding viewers. Because of this, your best bet at creating that true fan base that keeps coming back to your website or blog again and again lies in keeping yourself relevant as possible to your target audience. The first part of this obviously means finding yourself a niche that you’re going to dedicate all your targeting to; your site can’t be about everything -or it can but your competition will just become crazy. Having found your niche, you’ve just narrowed down the amount of pages you need to compete against by several billion at a single stroke and now you can focus on that relevance. Being relevant, so that your blog actually gets found and visited by people involves coming up with the most creative, innovative and … [Read more...] about Using Search Engines to Brainstorm New Ideas for Blogging Topics

Hot Tub Party

Morning again all you readers in readerland.  I actually managed to get some sleep last night, and actually slept pretty soundly.  As a result I no longer feel like death warmed over.  Making it through yesterday was a bit of a struggle, and having sit in meetings and think intelligible thoughts a constant challenge.  There was one point when I was in the middle of a diatribe about some programming theory….  when I just lost my train of thought.  Poof it was gone… and I had to fumble around a bit to try and figure out where I was going with what I had just said. Dev Team Sheds Light on Issues of Concern in the HotS Community

The Heroes of the Storm site has been updated with a developer post that acknowledges several of the community's concerns about the game. In addition, devs reassure players that the team IS listening and will be making better communication a priority. "It's clear to us that some players in the Heroes community are unsure if their concerns are being heard. We take your feedback seriously. We can do better, so we'd like to shed some more light on a few of these topics". The Heroes team is working on new matchmaking improvements that will hopefully make matches that are "fun, fair and challenging". To do so, queue times may be increasing, particularly in higher-skill brackets, in order to better match players based on skill rather than expediency of a match starting. In addition, tweaks are being made in how a player's MMR and rank are determined and how "rank decay" affects it by being effective, but not punishing. Lastly, Performance-Based Matchmaking, while removed at the moment, is … [Read more...] about Dev Team Sheds Light on Issues of Concern in the HotS Community
