Today we have two sets of news coming from Yoozoo Games, the first being a new mode for Legacy of Discord, and new clothing options in League of Angels II.  Celestial Defense in Legacy of Discord: Furious Wings will pit players against waves of enemies to put their skills to the ultimate test. Players with a minimum level of 60 can join and it will be live from May 28th-30th, and June 4th-6th from 8:40pm-9pm. In this mode, players are put on one of four teams (Blue, Orange, Green and Purple), and these colors represent Dragonshards, with their own effect: Blue: Increases attack  Orange: Increases movement speed  Green: Increases all attributes Purple: Amplifies damage Protecting the mysterious girl Spark as well as their own Dragonshard is the goal, and players are awarded Glory for each defeated enemy. 10 Glory is added for a monster kill, while a Boss increases Glory by 100. I’m a little more excited this week. Why? Because your two favorite Byte’s were actually being streamed over at G-STAR 2018. You know, one of the largest gaming conventions in South Korea? Yeah. Our faces were on the huge, mounted TV from DG Entertainment. Let’s kick this off with a big one! Yes, we finally have news on Star Citizen! The ridiculously crowd-funded sci-fi MMO that has an expected release date in 2037. If you thought this one was dead.. then you were kinda right. It’s dead, but not so dead that the playerbase has all but abandoned it.. yet. There are still a couple hundred players occupying the game and this update is aimed at them. Oh, hey there. Fancy seeing you ’round these parts. You here for some juicy MMO-related news? So is everyone else! Before we jump into this game, I would first like to ask everyone watching.. do you guys not have phones? If you were hoping to be able to play Path of Exile on your PS4 this year then you’re going to be a tad bit disappointed. If you thought that Twin Saga was dead, then.. well, I mean its population is but the game itself is definitely not. Red Dead Online is.. unfortunately not an MMO I will ever be able to play. So it’s been a couple weeks since my last MMO news video. Christmas hit, New Years hit, and then.. well, there was a general lack of news in the genre. We’ll go ahead and start this off with some good news – news that I believe every fan of the genre needs to hear. In sadder news, Rose Online will be shutting down on February 11, 2019. WarpPortal, the publisher behind the game announced the closure via their official Facebook page. Next up we have a juicy new release from NCSoft. Actually, this is their very first mobile RPG released in the West thus far but from what I’ve learned.. mobile games, especially MMOs are all the same so it really isn’t likely to be much of a challenge. QC Games, the team behind the upcoming ARPG “Breach” have announced that the game is currently purchasable via Steam starting at $25 and finishing at $100. I feel like every week since 2019 began has gotten progressively more news. Like, I’m not even kidding. Yes, we finally have new information on Ascent: Infinite Realm. It’s brief, but it’s here. The team behind A:IR have taken the time to show us screenshots of the new “city in the sky”, “Inventus” – a large ship that was initially used as an evacuation ship. Before MapleStory 2 there existed a cuter, side-scrollier version of MapleStory called.. well, MapleStory. For those of you unaware of what Pagan Online is.. well, think Diablo or Path of Exile. Yup. We got another competitor ready to enter the ring and from what I’ve seen Pagan Online looks pretty damn cool. I’m not sure if fans will be happy they’ll be receiving more frequent content or upset that it won’t be of the same caliber in this update from the team behind Warframe.
