Conan Exiles entered Early Access with a bang, surpassing 50,000 concurrent players within a month. Unfortunately, Funcom failed to fix basic networking issues that prevented more than ~20 people from playing on a server together. A year of patches later and the game is averaging ~4,000 concurrent players. The retail release will likely lead to a boost in numbers and will serve as a good excuse for Early Access players to give the game another chance.
