Not all impressions are created equal. So why trade them wholesale without distinction? It’s a good and democratic way to trade all your impressions in open RTB environment (akin to AdSense)—all publishers get the same data and price floor, the highest bidder wins, end of story. But that sort of “throw it to the market and let them decide” approach severely limits yield and barely scratches the surface of all the capabilities of programmatic selling. In this primer, we are discussing all four of programmatic deal types, along with their potential merits and disadvantages for media sellers. Perfect Ten: Understanding MMORPG Warriors
There is always a Warrior. Every game has a Warrior. No matter what other class options it has, a Warrior is in that list. A while back, I talked about how to understand the lifestyle of the MMO Warrior, because there’s always a Warrior. Just as surely, there’s always a Rogue, or a Thief, or if you have to go a little further afield, a Scoundrel or Stalker. So in the spirit of understanding these conventions, let’s talk about understanding MMO Rogues. 1. Rogues always dress in … [Read more...] about Perfect Ten: Ten things you need to understand about MMORPG Rogues
