I bought Project Highrise back in 2016 and have played it for 54 hours. This number seems oddly low as I thought I’d sunk in much more time than that. I also bought all of the game’s DLCs. So when I saw the announcement for Mad Tower Tycoon, I was a bit skeptical. A second tower-building game? At first glance, these games were identical only with different graphics. However, I love simulation games and I love this theme, so I kept looking at the game’s Steam page again and again. The main question I had on my mind was: How is it different from Project Highrise? Is it worth buying Mad Tower Tycoon when I already own Project Highrise? Do we even need two games like this? Why should I spend money on another game like this if it’s exactly the same? Except for the graphics, of course. There has also been an interview (written in German as well as English) with a developer from EggCode Games and he was also asked how his game Mad Tower Tycoon differs from Project … [Read more...] about Mad Tower Tycoon and Project Highrise – What’s the difference?
Why chopsticks look different
Part 1: How much do the games cost and which extra security against hacked accounts do they offer?Part 2: What can I play (races and classes?)Part 3: What do the games look like?Part 4: What’s there to fight against (PvE)?Part 5: Who’s there to fight (PvP)? Today’s topic: Crafting (and secondary professions/hobbies). Crafting gets its own topic because I realised that I have a lot to write about here. I still wish MMO developers would make crafting more “important” or “meaningful” and not a hobby that you do when you don’t raid or otherwise kill mobs or other players. Still, all three games offer crafting, fortunately. :) If you want to make money with crafting, have a look at the auction house first! This goes for all three games. In a lot of cases, the raw crafting materials (e.g. the cloth, iron ore/iron bars, herbs, leather,…) are worth more in the AH than the end result. So if your game of choice offers a gathering profession … [Read more...] about Rift vs. LotRO vs. World of Warcraft – a closer look at all three MMOs (Part 6)
Servando: Since the last time I interviewed Zach who was making $8,000 per month with Amazon Affiliate Sites (now more than 5 figures per month) the topic got a lot of popularity around my blog. When I was contacted by Dennis who’s making 4 figures per month and he has managed a few PBNs and backlinks for other people around the niche I just couldn’t refuse to accept his guest post 🙂 I bet this will help a lot of people who’s got questions from the last interview I did a few months ago. Hey everyone, let me quickly introduce myself, my name is Dennis from Passive Solutions, I’ve been into SEO for almost 4 years now, initially ranked a few sites myself with pure spam (which worked great for a while), and eventually turned into PBN’s and sold over $500000,- worth of link packages at the Warrior Forum! As SEO got a bad name I moved into ranking my own sites again, Amazon affiliate sites that is, as it became harder and harder to gain clients it was … [Read more...] about The difference between making $1,000 and $10,000 per month from Amazon Affiliate Sites
Earlier this month, we published a simpler guide to header bidding technology. A programmatic technique that works from within the user’s browsers and gives unprecedented uplift in yield; header bidding is a game changer in programmatic buying and selling. Years ago, people used to say the same thing about RTB. RTB is like online shopping… at once a mere convenience and also a game changer. Did we shop before the internet? Yes. And yet now we have more options, shop more efficiently, can personalize our experiences, and yes – often find better prices. As a result, we shop more and the total commerce pie has expanded. — Josh MacFarland, CEO, TellApart (Source) In this short post, we compare header bidding vs RTB and see how the two programmatic techniques differ. What is RTB? It stands for Real Time Bidding. Simply put: RTB is an impression-level auction happening in real-time (in the time between the user requesting a web page and the page load completion). … [Read more...] about Header Bidding vs RTB: What’s the Difference?
